Families at Arise N Shine Preschool & Childcare in Renton, Washington, have access to resources that support early learning, family engagement, and program preparation. These materials offer guidance for routines, transitions, and activities that complement the childcare experience.

• USDA Child and Adult Care Food Program (Link it HERE.)
  We participate in the USDA Child and Adult Care Food Program, ensuring all meals meet established nutritional standards. Meals are served in a shared setting, giving children the chance to practice serving themselves and engaging in group dining routines.
• Onsite Field Trips
  On-site enrichment experiences may include visits from the Renton Fire Department, local police officers, dental professionals, the gym bus, magicians, and other community guests who bring interactive sessions to the center.
• Offsite Field Trips
  Offsite outings include weekly library circle time visits, nature walks, and picnics held at nearby parks to provide varied outdoor and community-based experiences.
• Parties
  Seasonal celebrations include Valentine’s Day, a Harvest and Costume event, and an annual Christmas party and concert. Children present Christmas songs during the program, followed by shared food and time with teachers and families.
• Picture Day
  Lifetouch hosts picture day twice each year, which includes cap and gown photos for Pre-K students to commemorate their transition into kindergarten. (Link it HERE.)

  DSHS childcare assistance is accepted for eligible families.
